52 new members in Membership Drive which equates to approximately $1200.00 bucks. Based on the last treasurers report, this should put us around $9,000.00 balance, give or take some for expenses. Considering membership drive twice a year to keep membership levels up.
Beautification Update:
Galway Circle: Louis is hosting a meeting with neighbors living adjacent to the circle on 31st at 7pm. Terry checking with Gary Griffith for pull on getting City to pay half, our half is about 4.5K as it stands now.
Bridget is working on recruiting Molly to head up the Beautification committee
Nominating committee: Aren, Lucy, Andrea, Bridget, and Terry ….Terry is chair of nominating committee.
Committee will have nominations complete and ready for publication in the next newsletter.
Terry is setting up meeting with Richard and other interested neighbors for board and committee positions. Proposed hosting at Will and Lucy’s house.
Crime Watch:
Still need confirmed appointee for committee chair. General consensus is that our recent “Crime Wave” is over, no new break ins have been reported recently.
Code Enforcement:
The City is out in force on policing the Bulk Trash dates. Several neighbors on Galway got fined for early bulk trash on the curb. This is a $225.00 fine, no more warnings. This was the result of one neighbor getting mixed up on the date, and the rest of the neighbors following suit.
