Jennifer called the meeting to order at 7:12, read the Treasurers report, then asked about the Meeting with AmReit.
Rory Yocum and Scott Williams expunged on what was said at the meeting. IN general AmReit is asking for input on what we the users of Casa Linda shopping center want to see in the vacant places. AmReit wants everyone to have a chance for some input so we will meet again in 3 to 4 months to see how everyone has responded and what the plan for the shopping center is.
We then had a small discussion chaired by Scott Williams about the Garland Road/Buckner Road project. He further explained the usage of the bricks and trees and vegetation of the medians.
Kriste de la Harpe then spoke about the status of the Galway corner project and what the new ideas were since the mowmentum project is still in a holding status or no new news status.
Todd Howard then gave us a very interesting 30 minute slide show about Global warming taught to him by Vice President Al Gore. Please contact Todd directly for more information concerning him doing this interesting presentation in your office or to your club.
